Are there any extra fees?
You are responsible for your own domain registration fees. Should you wish to register a domain, we have found a great deal at NicFair (opens new window)- only $9.99 a year or less for .com names that regularly cost up to $35.00. Of course you need to have your own ISP (Internet Service Provider) for your connection to the internet. We do not charge set-up fees on regular hosting accounts. Reseller plans have a small set up fee. If you use bandwidth substantially in excess of your monthly quota we will invoice you at our current rates. Many providers just shut down your site if you exceed your quota. We do not. You can always see what bandwidth you are using through your cPanel control panel.
What can I use this site for?
Just about anything. Need a site to practice web design on? You’ve got it. Want to show the folks overseas how the kids are growing? They’ll be kept up-to-date. Want to run a commercial application? Get in on the Internet revolution today. Got a product to sell? Everyone is searching and shopping on-line. Need 24 hour a day, 7 day a week promotion? This is the cheapest and easiest way to do it. Adult and Spam sites are not welcome. There really isn’t much you can’t do. Read our Terms and Conditions for more information, or just get on with it and order now. You’ll be required to read the terms and conditions anyway as part of the ordering process.
Cost to Transfer Domain
You don’t actually transfer your domain to us. You leave your domain registration in your name with the registrar where your domain name is registered. In order for us to host your domain, you need to change the nameserver (dns) information with your registrar. We are not aware of any registrar that charges you to do this, but check with yours. Changing the nameserver information tells the world where to find your site. You will need to upload your site to your new address. Make sure you have the current copy available for upload when your account is set up. If you would like assistance copying your site from another server, please contact the sales department.
How do I Cancel My Account?
It’s easy. At least 7 days before your automatic renewal just send an email to the sales department with your domain name and your user name and password for security reasons. Your account and billing will be cancelled and you will receive a cancellation confirmation code from the billing department. The account will be removed from the server on the next renewal date or earlier if you request it.
